Cleopatra had so many great beauty tricks up her bejeweled sleeve.
Among them is royal jelly, a substance secreted by honeybees and fed to larvae that are being raised as queen bees. From a beauty perspective, it is thought to aid in the natural regenerative process and reduce the appearance of dark circles and dry skin. From a health perspective, it also used for asthma, hay fever, diabetes and even insomnia and fatigue.
