Emu Oil, Australia
There are some bizarre trends in the long history of skin moisturizers.
The aborigines of Australia, who have been around for more than 50,000 years (really), favor Emu oil for moisture and to treat various skin conditions. An Emu is a large flightless bird (similar to an ostrich) that produces the healing oil in a fatty pad on its back. Fans say it penetrates skin more deeply than other oils, nourishing cells.
Interesting, but we’ll stick to Ojon oil.
